Pace Analytical Services LLC in Maplewood, MN is seeking a Physical Properties Technician to support the Scientific Insourcing Solutions division. You will prepare and test adhesive-related samples and assist with routine lab maintenance and training as needed.

The role involves testing solids, paper, tape and film properties, including tensile and bond strength, density and viscosity, plus operating precision measurement tools and MTS equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science field; Chemistry and Physics preferred.
• Lab experience with precision measurement tools and electronic equipment.
• Experience creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organization and task-management abilities.
• Observation skills and curiosity; willing to speak up in a team.
• Mechanically inclined with experience using common hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
