Job summary

Meijer invites experienced pharmacy professionals to join our team in Michigan. The role involves practicing pharmacy with a focus on patient care and outstanding customer service, while maintaining a clean, organized environment and confidentiality of patient information.

You will manage prescription processing, insurance claims, and medication stocking, while supporting pharmacy initiatives and ensuring efficient workflow for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Retail/Community Pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve medications from inventory and verify accuracy.
• Input prescription and customer information into the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork for filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for Pharmacy Department and stock items.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Prioritize workload and maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.

• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
