Responsibilities

• Retrieve medication from inventory and prepare it for dispensing.
• Input customer and prescription information into the dispensing system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and obtaining drug orders.
• Order prescription medications for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock prescription medications.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and keep a clean, professional pharmacy area.
