This role supports the pharmacy staff in dispensing medications, handling prescriptions, and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment with patient-focused service. You will retrieve medications, input data, create labels, adjudicate insurance claims, stock inventory, and assist with pharmacy initiatives.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Retail/Community practice experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and positive attitude.
• Proficient typing and neat handwriting.
• Good organizational and prioritizing skills.
• Teamwork and reliable attendance are important.
• Basic math and professional appearance expected.

Responsabilidades

• Retrieve the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Input customer and prescription information in the pharmacy system.
• Create prescription labels and adjudicate insurance claims.
• Complete paperwork related to filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Order prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stock prescription medication and maintain a clean workspace.
• Promote pharmacy initiatives and provide patient-focused service.
• Prioritize workload and communicate effectively.
