Job summary

Meijer is seeking a pharmacy professional to join our team in Illinois. The role requires friendly, patient‑focused service and accurate dispensing and documentation across all pharmacy duties.

You will retrieve medications, input prescriptions, process insurance claims, and maintain a clean, compliant pharmacy environment while promoting clinical services and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
• Prioritizing workload.
• Using effective communication skills and be agent of change.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly pharmacy for a professional appearance.
• Maintaining confidentiality of patient information.

The pay range for this position is listed below.

$17.50 - $18.55

This pay range represents the minimum and maximum base pay for the position, which is determined by factors such as market data, the qualifications required, the level of responsibilities associated with the role and other roles at this same level. Your specific pay rate within this range will be based on your experience, qualifications, and skills compared to the internal team you'll be joining.
