Job summary

Clark's Termite & Pest Control in South Carolina is hiring a Pest Control Technician to serve homes and businesses in Summerville, Goose Creek, Ladson and surrounding areas. No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training and safety-first policies.

You'll inspect properties, implement treatment plans, educate customers, travel to appointments within your service area, and help build lasting relationships through reliable, friendly service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must meet vehicle and insurance eligibility requirements, including 3+ years of licensed driving.
• Experience in pest control, skilled trades, maintenance, field service, construction, or hands-on customer service preferred.
• Experience using computers and smartphones.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to obtain pest control certifications/licenses if not held.

What You'll Do:

As a Pest Control Technician, you'll spend your day helping people in your community by solving pest issues and building long-term customer relationships through honesty, empathy, and outstanding service.

You will:

• Inspect homes and businesses to identify pest concerns
• Execute specialized pest management treatment plans
• Recommend preventative solutions to help customers avoid future issues
• Travel to customer appointments throughout your service area
• Educate customers on treatment plans and best practices

In this role, you'll directly contribute to our mission of creating healthier, safer environments for the communities we serve.

Physical Requirements:

You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time comfortably, work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold), safely operate equipment, and go into large and small crawlspaces.

What You Need:

• High school diploma OR GED
• Must meet company vehicle and insurance eligibility requirements, including a minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Experience in pest control, skilled trades, maintenance, field service, construction, or other hands-on customer service roles is preferred.
• Experienced using computers and smartphones.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to obtain necessary pest control certifications and licenses (if not already held).
