Wealth Development Strategies, based in Houston, TX, seeks an entry-level paraplanner to support the Financial Planning team. You will work closely with experienced advisors, gaining hands-on exposure to client cases and planning tools in a training-focused environment.

The role offers a clear path for professional development toward a paraplanner or advisor position, with structured training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Interest in financial planning; CFP pursuit encouraged but not required initially.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quickly.

Responsabilités

• Assist with onboarding new clients and engagement process
• Enter and maintain client data in planning systems
• Support client access to portals and online tools
• Prepare materials for client meetings and reviews
• Update CRM and task systems after meetings
• Conduct basic research on financial planning topics
• Collaborate with client service on post-meeting tasks
