Job summary

The Law Offices of Marshall Dennehey, a nationally recognized civil defense firm, seek an entry-level full-time paralegal for our Mount Laurel, New Jersey office.

You will support a collaborative litigation team, manage discovery, prep trial notebooks, and maintain client and file organization in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of litigation/casualty paralegal experience.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree is required.
• Paralegal Certificate from an ABA‑approved program is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, review, and analyze documents including medical, financial, tax, and employment records.
• Create detailed medical and factual chronologies.
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files.
• Compile evidence through discovery documents, transcripts, records, libraries, and databases.
• Manage and organize electronic and physical case files.
• Coordinate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and support services.
• Generate status reports, logs, and case indexes.
• Correspond with clients and opposing law firms.
• Conduct legal and medical research, including review of expert materials.
• Communicate with experts and analyze qualifications, prior testimony, transcripts, and publications.

Litigation Practice Areas Include:

Motor vehicle accidents, Premises and Products Liability, Insurance coverage issues, Negligent security and liquor liability. Personal injury actions may include Slip and fall claims; Property damage claims; Fire loss claims.
