Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Class C Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized powerlines and may travel to different job sites as needed. Report to the Foreman.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of relevant field experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles and related hardware.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks and other line equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying weather and conditions.
• Participate in outages, storms and emergency callouts using on-call rotations.
• Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
