Job summary

Canyon Creek Financial is seeking an Entry-Level Sales Representative to join our team and launch a career in outside B2B insurance sales. You will be meeting with local business owners as an independent contractor, presenting supplemental insurance options, and building lasting client relationships with guidance from mentors.

A structured, supportive ramp-up includes licensing help and weekly compensation components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience a plus)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local travel
• Comfortable using technology (smartphone, CRM tools, email communication)
• Willingness to obtain a state Health & Life Insurance license (we'll reimburse costs)

Responsibilities

• Meet with local business owners and employees as an independent contractor to introduce supplemental insurance plans
• Learn how to present coverage options with clarity, empathy, and confidence
• Build relationships that go beyond transactions—offering reliable service and follow-up
• Apply new skills quickly with the support of structured training and one‑on‑one mentorship
• Track progress toward clear goals that grow with your confidence and experience
