Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $89,000.00/yr

Position Overview

As a territory-based sales representative, you'll engage directly with clients. You'll receive tailored training to succeed in reaching out to small and medium-sized businesses across various sectors. Your main goal will be to introduce top-tier supplemental insurance solutions to business owners and their employees. Expect a mix of one-on-one interactions and group presentations to audiences of 50-100+ people, offering diverse challenges and growth opportunities.

Core Responsibilities
  • Use our customized Salesforce CRM to generate leads and expand your professional network within your territory and neighboring communities.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or text.
  • Schedule meetings with potential and existing clients to understand their insurance needs.
  • Attend scheduled calls and meetings with your sales manager and team.
  • Visit new businesses, develop relationships with local owners, follow up on referrals, and re-service existing clients.
  • Build and nurture your client portfolio.
  • Work with your sales manager to set monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Plan and follow your weekly schedule and working hours; submit your schedule weekly.
  • Record daily work stats and sales activities at the end of each day.
Additional Qualifications
  • Pass a high-level pre-employment background check.
  • Active Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Active Health & Life Insurance Producer license in your state (or willingness to obtain; study course provided at no cost and licensing fees reimbursed).
  • Bachelor's degree or at least 4 years of post-high school work experience (candidates within 6 months of degree completion or with relevant sales or athletic background will be considered).
