Job summary

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Med - Infectious Diseases is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I to support the study team and assist with the lifecycle from start-up to closure. You will help with screening, consent, visits, data collection, and coordination of lab activities in compliance with protocol and GCP.

Responsibilities include subject recruitment, scheduling, phlebotomy as required, and communicating updates to the team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with MS Office programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, screening, scheduling, consenting, and visits.
• Conduct study activities in line with the protocol and GCP.
• Perform routine phlebotomy and other protocol-mandated procedures.
• Collect specimens and document procedures per SOPs.
• Communicate study updates to team members and support monitoring visits.
