Job summary

Halliburton Energy Services in Williston, ND, is hiring for an Entry Level Oilfield Operator Assistant in Wireline Logging & Perforating. You will receive industry-leading training during a 90-day period and start with hands-on experience under supervision.

A 2 weeks on, 1 week off schedule with day/night shifts, a $400/month stipend while based in Williston, and a $45/day per diem or equivalent lodging are part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must obtain a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or a Class B license depending on product service line; satisfactory driving record required.
• Class A CDL permit preferred prior to start date.
• Must obtain Class A CDL within 90 days of start date; Halliburton will enroll employee into a CDL class.
• Manual transmission experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to pass background, physical and drug screen.
• Able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long workdays, irregular hours, on-call with short notice, and exposure to extreme weather.
• Must be able to work day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, you will learn basic safety, repair and operations procedures on equipment and tools.
• Learn and adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures and guidelines, and other safety and service quality protocols.
• Assists in the completion of pre and post job equipment inspections and related paperwork/reports.
• Assists in rigging-up and rigging-down of operation equipment including high-pressure connections.
• Assist in completing preventative maintenance procedures and maintaining support equipment.
• Assists in the clean-up, repair, and preparation for a job.
• Practice safe driving procedures when traveling to and from locations.
• Completes training as required following the Company's learning development system and processes.

Compensation Information

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience

• Potential Annual Earnings: $81,000+/yearly
  • Average annual earnings are an estimationdependent on hours worked per week, overtime hours worked, product service line, location, and position. An offer of employment with Halliburton does not guarantee employment for any length of time. Actual pay will be discussed and finalized at the time of the offer.
• Position is eligible for a $400/month stipend when based out of Williston, ND.
• 2 weeks on 1 week off schedule (rotating day/night shift)*Halliburton reserves the right to adjust schedules based on industry needs.*
• $45/day Per Diem or paid living accommodations during scheduled working time.
• Employees are responsible for coordinating their own travel to and from Williston, ND for their work rotationas well as their own transportation to and from the Halliburton facility for the workday.

Qualifications

This is an entry-level position subject to a 90-day training period where Halliburton will provide industry leading training in our field operations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to obtain a Class A CDL license with tanker endorsement or a class B license depending on product service line, and must have a satisfactory driver record with no DWI/DUI convictions in the past three years or any current DWI/DUI charges
• Class A CDL permit preferred prior to start date
• Must be able to obtain a Class A CDL within 90 days after start date. Halliburton will enroll employee into a class to obtain a CDL.
• Manual transmission experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 60lbs
• Able to pass background, physical and drug screen
• Able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions

Additional Information

• Benefit enrollment begins within 30 days of hire date and coverage will become effective on the 90thday of employment.
• Eligible to participate in the Halliburton Retirement and Savings (401K) Plan as of the first day of employment.
• $500 Sign-on bonus after the 90thday of employment
