Job summary

GPAC partners with a Mishawaka, IN client to hire a Nutritionist who will support nutritional analysis, formulation development, and quality initiatives within pet food manufacturing.

You will collaborate with quality, production, and procurement teams, ensuring formulations meet nutritional standards and regulatory requirements while contributing to product performance improvements through field visits and trials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Food Science, or related field.
• Master's degree in similar field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a nutritionist or formulation role.
• Foundational understanding of animal nutrition and feed formulation principles.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain detailed documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skill.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist with nutritional analysis and evaluation of feed ingredients and pet food formulations.
• Support development of new pet food products and balanced formulations.
• Conduct research on ingredient innovations and nutritional trends within the pet food industry.
• Monitor product quality to ensure compliance with nutritional standards and regulatory requirements.

• Provide nutritional information and technical support to internal teams when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of formulation data and research findings.
