Framatome is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I in Lynchburg, VA for a temporary role within the Incore Manufacturing team. You will perform basic assembly, cleaning, and fabrication operations for nuclear instrument components, following step-by-step work instructions and drawings.

The job includes set up, calibration, and use of basic equipment, with occasional travel to nuclear sites as needed. This role emphasizes safety, Lean Manufacturing principles, and accurate data entry.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic calculations.
• Ability to read and follow written/work instructions and diagrams.
• Capable of safe operation of basic tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic equipment setup and calibration.
• Prepares parts and performs basic assembly, cleaning, and fabrication operations.
• Operates forklifts, scales, calipers, and small hand tools as needed.
• Accurately enters production data into the system.
• Maintains clean and orderly work area and reports defects.
