Assured Information Security (AIS) is seeking an entry-level Network Engineer to support operation, maintenance, and evolution of a specialized system environment. The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, network setup/teardown, firewall configuration, and automation.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in CS or related field with 0–2 years of experience; Linux/Windows admin familiarity; must pursue Linux+ certification within 6 months.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 0–2 years' experience or equivalent.
• Foundational networking concepts: TCP/IP, routing, switching.
• Familiarity with Linux or Windows system administration.
• Ability to learn new technologies and solve problems.
• Capable of working in a team environment; Linux+ certification within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic troubleshooting of network and system issues.
• Maintain system infrastructure; set up/teardown switches and routers.
• Configure network firewalls and support security postures.
• Develop and troubleshoot virtualized thin-client environments.
• Contribute to team documentation and keep materials current.
• Assist in development of key-generation scripts and automation.
