Opti Staffing Group's client in NE Portland, OR is seeking a compassionate Transporter for the Medical Examiner's Office. You will move and transport deceased individuals with dignity, interact with families, and follow strict documentation and chain-of-custody procedures.

Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift over 100 lbs, and a calm, professional demeanor in emotionally sensitive situations. Day and night shifts offered with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Legible handwriting skills.
• Ability to pass a 9-panel drug screen.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment lift test.
• Ability to safely lift and move over 100 lbs.
• Ability to work with deceased individuals of all ages.
• Remain calm, compassionate and professional in sensitive situations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Transport deceased individuals on behalf of the Medical Examiner's Office and funeral homes.
• Handle and transport the deceased with professionalism and dignity.
• Interact compassionately with families during difficult moments.
• Safely operate company vehicles across the Portland metro area.
• Follow procedures for documentation and chain of custody.

Hours: Full-Time | Day Shift ($21.50) & Night Shift ($22.50)

Schedule: 12-hour on-call shift with a 9-hour guarantee
