GenMet is a contract metal fabricator seeking an Entry-Level Fabricator to join our team and manufacture products. We train motivated individuals on everything needed to become a great fabricator and valued team member.

Ideal candidates will have mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the willingness to learn blueprints and metal fabrication processes. GenMet offers growth through cross-training and an apprenticeship program within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and prior work experience.
• Demonstrate uncompromising ethical behavior.
• Math abilities to solve problems and perform inspections.
• Mechanical aptitude demonstrated by safe tool use.
• Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
• Safety- and quality-conscious mindset.
• Team-oriented and well organized.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, team-centered environment.

Responsabilités

• Follow safety rules and safe work practices.

• Able to use a wide range of hand tools and safely operate equipment.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Able to read blueprints and use precision measuring equipment.
• Able to problem-solve and align tasks with production plans.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and maintain a clean workplace.
• Support ISO9001, ITAR, OSHA compliance and other standards.
• Assist in production and perform other duties as needed.
