Job summary

SECU is seeking an entry-level Associate Member Services Representative to support branch operations and deliver exemplary member service in person and over the phone. You will handle routine transactions, assist with account origination and maintenance, and learn bank procedures under supervision.

The role emphasizes attendance, professional appearance, confidentiality, and ongoing training to grow within member services and basic financial products.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred - Bachelor's degree, or CCUE Certification, or Associate of Arts/Science via NC-CTP.
• Consistently demonstrates SECU's Core Values.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Complete Credit Union Core Module Program within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Credit Union policies and regulatory requirements.
• Serve members by processing transactions and balancing a cash drawer.
• Greet and assist members in person, by phone, and through digital channels.
• Balance the vault, ATMs, teller cash dispenser, and coin sorter.
• Learn CXone and assist MSS as requested.
• Maintain daily/ monthly records for various reports.
