• 1 year Genome Sequencing experience preferred.
• MLS, Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Lab Scientist, Med Tech, Medical Technologist, CLS, Clinical Lab Scientist

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting and recording results.
• Maintain records showing proficiency testing samples are tested like patient specimens.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
• Review and release test results.
• Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines.
• Follow lab policies if test systems are out of acceptable performance.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and notify senior staff.
