Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles in Cartersville, GA, is seeking a 2027 Mechanical Engineer for an entry-level role. You’ll design, analyze, and integrate products at system and component levels, and gain exposure across engineering disciplines through mentorship and hands-on projects.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 0–2 years of experience. CAD software experience (CAD, SolidWorks, ProE, UG-NX, CATIA) and MS Office are preferred, with opportunities to work on prototypes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, mechanical preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience required.
• CAD/ SolidWorks/ ProE/UG-NX/ CATIA and MS Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and integrate products at the system and component level.
• Develop complex systems across engineering disciplines.
• Read and interpret engineering specifications.
• Ensure products adhere to structural design.
• Apply GD&T to components and assemblies.
• Support development testing and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze test data and support technical reviews with customers.
