Pelican Energy in Covington, LA is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to support design activities under supervision. You will assist in developing calculations, design of pumping systems, piping layouts, and heat exchangers, with mentorship from senior engineers.

You will gain exposure to client standards, industry guidelines, and regulatory codes while building foundational engineering skills and collaborating with drafting and project teams to meet deadlines.

Capable of performing work as assigned and mentored by a Design Engineer, Lead Engineer, Project Engineer or Manager. Engineers usually design single elements (e.g. a pump, piping/line sizing, a heat exchanger, etc.)
