Entry Level Mechanic

We are hiring a full‑time Entry Level Mechanic to support the installation, inspection, and repair of above‑ground storage tanks.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform regular tasks related to the installation, inspection, and repair of tank seals and domes.
  • Use non‑welded tank apparatus and conduct inspections.
  • Complete PTS in‑house training to become Confined Space Rescue‑trained.
  • Install, inspect, and repair above‑ground storage tanks.
  • Operate safety equipment, including fall protection, atmospheric monitors, and respiratory protection.
  • Operate all on‑site tools: power tools, air tools, and testing equipment.
  • Set up and operate generators and air compressors.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and aerial lifts.
  • Interpret drawing packages, technical documents, and safe‑work plans.
  • Assist in caring for and maintaining all tooling and equipment.
  • Assist in receiving, inspecting, and inventorying all materials.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly job site.
  • Complete job safety analysis, safety audits, site‑specific training, and other safety training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 years.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Authorization for background checks and motor‑vehicle driving‑record checks.
  • Willingness to submit to pre‑hire, random, and post‑incident drug and alcohol testing.
  • Welding ability is a plus.
