Brunswick Corporation’s Freedom Boat Club is seeking a Junior Technician. This entry-level, production-focused role performs routine maintenance and builds foundational skills across marine systems under supervision.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical or technical experience.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks with accuracy.
• Ability to learn in a hands-on, production-driven environment.
• Familiarity with hand tools; bring personal basic-use tools.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to follow standardized procedures and safety requirements.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to document work.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and accountability for tasks.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks (oil changes, winterization, component replacements).
• Support diagnostics, repair, and installation across marine systems with increasing independence.
• Contribute to daily production by completing service tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Follow repair procedures, service manuals, and safety protocols.
• Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Review service orders and specs to support accurate work.
• Track labor, time, and task completion for productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment.
• Assist with vessel staging and refurbishment as needed.
• Collaborate with team to resolve repair challenges and improve workflow.
• Participate in training, meetings, and company system communications.
