Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a team member for the Manufacturing Operations Shift Team. The role focuses on improving production flow, monitoring software and equipment, and ensuring strict safety and environmental guidelines are followed in a cleanroom setting.

The candidate will identify bottlenecks, manage tool efficiency, communicate roadblocks, and follow established procedures while promoting continuous improvement and data-driven decisions on the line.

Qualifications

• Must be able to wear a cleanroom smock for an entire shift.
• Lift up to 25 lb during the shift.
• Ability to follow and create documented procedures.
• Must maintain focus on safety and environmental guidelines.

Position Summary

As a member of the Manufacturing Operations Shift Team, the employee is responsible for performing activities that improve the flow of production through sections of the line, during their shift, while achieving world-class speed and quality: Monitor, evaluate and interact with software systems and computerized manufacturing equipment to maintain proper photo resist inventory and chemical age. Communicate and follow through on any inhibitors to manufacturing performance. Must adhere to strict protocol policies, which include wearing a clean room suit for long periods. Must have a clear understanding of the tools and systems that are utilized and the product that is being produced. Requires compliance with all security, health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.

• Ability to both follow and create documented procedures
• Ability to wear a cleanroom smock for an entire shift and lift up to 25lb.
