Job summary

Overhead Door Corporation is seeking an entry level production operator to manufacture sectional and rolling doors and components at our Dalton, GA facility. You will work with heavy machinery and equipment, following drawings, BOMs, and run schedules to produce items that meet product specifications.

Responsibilities include operating roll formers and presses, inspecting parts, and assembling door sections while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Industrial manufacturing experience desired.
• Able to read and understand work instructions in English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Operation of heavy machinery and equipment including roll forming, press operation, milling, welding, and fabrication.
• Manufacture products and components according to specifications and run schedules.
• Ensure product quality by following SOPs and maintaining proper settings.
• Inspect, observe and measure work pieces to verify specifications and quality.
• Adjust machine/equipment performance to meet specs and quality standards.
• Use hand/power tools, cranes and material handling devices as required.
• Fabricate and assemble sectional and rolling doors and components.
