Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is hiring entry-level manufacturing workers for our Eugene, Oregon sawmill. You will start in an entry-level labor role with opportunities to learn across plant operations, including production, maintenance and supervision.

Training is provided to fill in on various machines and tasks in a fast-paced environment. We offer comprehensive benefits, including health coverage, a retirement plan, and paid vacation with holidays.

Qualifications

• 1-year recent, related work history with verifiable references required, manufacturing experience preferred.
• All applicants must be at least age 18.

Responsibilities

• Start a new manufacturing career in an entry-level labor position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision.
• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our manufacturing facility.
• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts.
• Stack and pile lumber.
• The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding.
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments.
• Work may consist various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times.
