Job summary

Upstate Niagara Cooperative, West Seneca Plant in West Seneca, NY, is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician to support fundamental maintenance functions while receiving on-the-job training to advance to Tier 1.

You'll assist in equipment maintenance and repair, lockout/tagout, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, tooling, and safety compliance. No prior experience required; HS diploma typically expected; OSHA 10 preferred. Shift-work including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required or equivalent; entry-level with on-the-job training.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Equipment maintenance & repair; troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions.
• Lockout/Tagout procedures on equipment.
• Maintain hydraulic & pneumatic systems; install/assemble pipelines.
• Operate tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, jigs, fixtures.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties to meet plant needs.
