The role involves handling forklifts, batteries, preventive maintenance tasks, and documentation. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic tool knowledge, and a willingness to work in cold conditions.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general hand and power tools.
• Experience with preventative maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support to the maintenance department during training.
• Maintain professionalism and collaborate with facility management and team members.
• Complete painting assignments, including working at heights and in cold temperatures.
• Maintain and replace forklift batteries, performing routine inspections and maintenance.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks, including inspecting fire extinguishers and logging equipment hours.
• Conduct regular building maintenance to ensure facility cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
• Accurately complete work orders and document maintenance activities.
• Participate in training for equipment to safely maintain, inspect, and repair them.
• Support emergency response efforts as required.
• Complete required annual emergency response physicals, including lung capacity and hearing tests.
• Assist with refrigeration tasks under supervision if trained.
