Job summary

PPS in Minerva, OH is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician for our aluminum foundry. This full-time permanent role offers benefits and a high ceiling for growth.

You will install, test, and maintain equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and document all work. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a loud environment are required; welding and forklift experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong Mechanical Aptitude.
• Can handle the heat (water, fans, squencher, etc provided).

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble and test new machines and equipment.
• Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.
• Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections.
• Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
• Complete repairs and parts replacements.
• Work effectively with other team members in a loud environment.
• Repair, install, adjust or maintain machines or vehicles.
• Complete written record of work performed.
