You will read blueprints, set up machines, and measure dimensions using calipers and tape measures. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of professional experience related to manufacturing.
• Basic math skills including the ability to read a tape measure and calipers.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints.
• Experience using industrial machines.
• Forklift operation certification.
• Overhead crane experience.
• Proficiency with equipment such as radial drills, fin tube machinery, large vertical band saws, presses, breaks and shears.

Responsibilities

• Provide materials to workstations and various locations as needed.
• Read blueprints or instructions for job specifications.
• Set up, operate, and maintain machines, including loading, machining, unloading, and de-burring.
• Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions for accuracy.
• Select and secure tools, fixtures, accessories, and materials.
• Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments.
• Replace and install machined parts, ensuring proper functionality.
• May install machined replacement parts into mechanisms and test operation.
• Maintain a tidy work area during and after each shift.
