Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Machine Operator in Alexandria, MN to help produce high-quality molded plastics parts in a fast-paced production environment. You will read work instructions, operate molding presses, perform quality checks, and package finished products for shipment.

We value safety and efficiency, with weekly pay and growth opportunities. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required, and lifting up to 45

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail are required.
• Experience not required; ability to learn quickly is important.
• Basic math skills are needed to perform calculations.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work instructions accurately and efficiently.
• Operate molding presses to produce quality molded parts.
• Perform quality checks and required SPC procedures as directed by the team leader.
• Visually inspect molded parts and identify defects; clip, trim and prepare parts for packaging.
• Pack finished products into boxes for shipment; maintain a clean, safe work area.
