Job summary

Plaza Tire Service in Benton, AR is hiring a Lube and Tire Technician. This full-time role involves performing tire services, oil changes, and basic maintenance, plus completing Digital Vehicle Inspections and documentation accurately.

Qualifications

• Reliable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined and eager to learn.
• Willingness to learn basic automotive maintenance and repair processes.
• Ability to follow written procedures, safety standards and store processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technicians, service advisors and store leaders.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services, including mounting, dismounting, balancing and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and repair order documentation accurately.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings through store channels.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable under supervision.
• Keep shop, showroom, restrooms and outside areas clean and customer-ready.
• Transport customers and pick up parts, tires and supplies as directed.
• Follow safety procedures, use PPE and report hazards or unsafe equipment.
• Work collaboratively with team, accept coaching, and participate in training.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed and other duties as assigned.
