Job summary

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) in Glasgow, KY is hiring an Entry-Level Lube Technician. You’ll learn from award-winning training to perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, battery tests, and 18-point maintenance inspections alongside a friendly, customer-focused team.

No prior automotive experience is required; you’ll receive hands-on coaching, flexible scheduling, and career growth opportunities, with benefits including health coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• From day one, you’ll get hands-on training and support to thrive as a Lube Technician.
• All you need to do is bring your positive attitude, attention to detail, and passion for learning—and we’ll help you every step of the way.
• Schedule flexibility (Weekend availability is likely, but we ensure you don’t work late nights or holidays).
• This role requires the ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions.
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and check and refill fluids.
• Rotate tires and test batteries.
• Inspect and replace lights and wipers.
• Perform an 18-point maintenance check and other preventive maintenance services.
