Job summary

Loving Honda, part of Loving Auto Group, in Texas is seeking an entry-level Quick Lube Technician to inspect and lubricate vehicles quickly and thoroughly. You’ll start by handling routine inspections and lubrication, with growth potential in the dealership environment.

You will perform basic maintenance, follow safety procedures, and communicate needs to service advisors while benefiting from company programs and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Must meet dealership's employment requirements.
• Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Familiar with automotive repair/maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver license and be able to operate manual transmissions.
• Prior helper or apprentice experience preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform multipoint inspections.
• Communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors.
• Service universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles with grease guns.
• Inspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentials, rear axle housings and shackles.
• Check tire pressure and lubricate moving parts.
• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil.
• Add water to radiator and battery.
• Replace oil and air filters.
• Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conduct.
• Follow dealership safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicals.
