Job summary

Grease-Monkey in Texas is seeking an entry-level Lube Technician to learn car maintenance and safety practices while contributing to our team’s success. You will be trained in our processes for quick skill growth and will perform routine tasks such as replacing filters, bulbs, wipers, checking fluids, batteries, and tire pressures, along with basic shop cleaning and timekeeping.

A valid driver’s license and good communication skills are required, and uniform shirts, jacket and belt are provided

Qualifications

• Driver’s license required.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing; basic math.
• Able to safely and properly use mechanical tools without damage to vehicles.
• Demonstrate self-accountability, teamwork, willingness, and ability to learn.
• Basic understanding of how to use a computer and register.

Responsibilities

• Perform general center maintenance and cleaning as applicable to location.
• Assist with vehicle servicing including basic inspections.
• Check and replenish fluids; batteries and tires as needed.
• Follow grooming standards and uniform guidelines; wear provided uniform items.
• Attend team meetings and complete required training.
