Job summary

Fox Motors in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Quick Lube Technician to perform routine maintenance and light line service on vehicles, including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and related tasks. The role focuses on customer satisfaction, trust-building, and teamwork within the service department.

The position emphasizes growth with the Fox University programs and opportunities in development and advancement within Fox Motors' dealer network.

Qualifications

No prior experience or training.
High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience or training.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Sells lubrication, safety inspection, and other related services.
Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil.
Replaces oil and air filters.
Inspects vehicle fluid levels and replenishes as necessary.
Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed.
Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
Keeps customers' cars clean and notifies if appearance or condition changes.
