Job summary

Crain Automotive is seeking an entry-level Low Voltage Technician to join its IT and Technology Services team in Little Rock, AR. You will learn to install, maintain, and troubleshoot dealership technology systems while working alongside experienced technicians.

No prior low-voltage experience is required; a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude are valued. Travel to Crain Automotive locations in Arkansas may be required as projects arise.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge or interest in computers, networking, electronics, construction, or low-voltage systems.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and termination of Cat5e/Cat6 network cabling.
• Learn basic fiber-optic cabling installation and testing.
• Assist with troubleshooting surveillance cameras and access control systems.
• Install wireless access points and network equipment.
• Read and follow installation drawings and plans.
