Job summary

A utility locating company is seeking entry-level Locate Technicians in Mesa, Arizona. The role involves locating underground utilities, troubleshooting, and marking areas to prevent damage. Candidates will receive 100% paid training and must be comfortable working outdoors in various conditions. A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are required. The position offers a pay rate of $20 per hour, flexible scheduling, and numerous benefits including PTO, safety shoe vouchers, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day 2-3 times a week.
• Pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Use provided locate equipment & technology to accurately locate underground utilities.

• Read maps, interpret blueprints, and determine the best method & sequence for locating.
