Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, based in Memphis, TN, is seeking a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance for commercial properties. You will perform basic tasks under supervision and help operate commercial landscaping equipment safely.

You will cut turf, prune shrubs, plant and maintain flowerbeds, and assist with general upkeep of landscapes while ensuring guest safety and adherence to safety guidelines. The role is outdoors and physically demanding.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and dependable.
• Ability to safely operate power tools and landscape equipment.
• Certified on level 1 equipment: backpack blower, edger, string trimmer, mower.
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf using power mowers and trim/edge with gas-powered tools.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to maintain shape and health.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds; mulch as needed.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks, beds, and around structures.
• Pickup trash, blow leaves, and clear debris from turf before mowing.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance to extend life of tools.
