Job summary
Tighe & Bond, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Landscape Designer to join our Landscape Architecture Team across our Boston, MA; Shelton, CT; or Portsmouth, NH offices.
You’ll gain hands-on experience on infrastructure projects that improve communities, while contributing to design, drawings, and presentational graphics. You will collaborate with senior designers, develop 3D models and renderings, and support construction drawing preparations in a supportive, hybrid work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- Experience, internships, or coursework in landscape architecture, site design, or related design disciplines.
- Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, Rhino, and/or Lumion.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to contribute collaboratively in a studio team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design projects for parks, open spaces, campus and urban environments, municipal spaces, landscape infrastructure, and development and remediation sites.
- Develop 3D models, renderings, and presentation graphics.
- Assist with the preparation of construction drawings and document sets.

Our Landscape Architecture Team & ProjectsAn award-winning landscape architecture, site planning, and urban design studio within Tighe & Bond, serving New England and the eastern United States. Our studio creates timeless, engaging landscapes that are rooted in fundamental design principles and inspired by the dynamics of nature. The studio’s designers bring a unique perspective that, when combined with the expertise of our engineers and environmental specialists, creates more holistic solutions, with an eye to unlocking each site’s potential.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a valuable part of our Landscape Architecture Team, anEntry Level Landscape Designer will support a variety of projects and gain hands‑on experience with responsibilities such as:
