Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Laboratory Technician to join the Mount Laurel team. No experience is required as you will be trained and guided by experienced staff to learn concrete and soils testing in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Obtain lab certifications per ECS Technician Certification Policy.
• Certifications required for soils and concrete labs if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic laboratory tests on construction material samples under supervision.
• Assists with sample preparation and testing procedures.
• Compiles test results, data input, data processing, and other admin duties.
• Performs soils lab testing (Atterberg limits, gradation, swell, moisture, proctor).
• Performs concrete lab testing (stripping, curing, temp logs, breaking samples).
• Maintains a clean, safe lab and documents calibration records.
