Job summary

Eurofins BPT-Columbia is seeking an Associate Scientist, Data Review to join our Quality Assurance team in Columbia, Missouri. This entry‑level role performs day‑to‑day laboratory tasks under prescribed processes and supports regulatory compliance.

You will review reports for accuracy, assist with internal audits, and collaborate with lab operations to ensure final report sign‑off. A Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or a related field is required, with the ability to work

Job Description

*THIS IS NOT A DATA SCIENCE POSITION*

Eurofins BPT-Columbia is looking for a Associate Scientist, Data Review tojoin our Quality Assurance team located in Columbia, Missouri. The Quality Assurance Associate position is an entry-level position involved in day-to-day activities in a laboratory setting under prescribed processes (protocols, standard operating procedures, methods, etc.).

• Review scientific reports under cGMP guidelines to ensure regulatory requirements have been met, the data is whole and accurate, and the report is of high quality.
• Assisting with internal audits
• Work closely with lab operations staff on a day-to-day basis and have the authority and responsibility for final report sign-off.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Experience in a laboratory setting or GMP pharmaceutical setting.
• Good organizational skills; ability to follow direction and good communication skills are required.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or other directly related field or degree with comparable coursework in the above areas.
• Ability to work in the US indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Working schedule will be Full-Time, First Shift, M-F 8am-4:30pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Columbia, MO are encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be given. 25% travel may be required. This position is NOT remote.
