Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries, a fourth‑generation family‑owned company based in Northern California, has an entry‑level labor opening at our Fiber Operations facility in Martell, CA. This role offers hands‑on learning across production, equipment maintenance, and supervision with shifts that may include overtime and weekends.

We train from within and provide excellent benefits, including low‑cost health plans and a 401(k) with company contributions.

Qualifications

• We look for applicants with recent, related work history and verifiable references.
• All applicants must be at least age 18

• Learn to fill in on various machine stations at our bark plant facility.
• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts
• Remove material and clean out jams as necessary
• The work is fast paced and can, at times, be demanding
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments
• Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times

About The Position

• Entry-level labor position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision
