Job summary

Monticello Associates, LLC is seeking an Entry-level Analyst to join the Investment Consulting team in Bethesda, MD. The role supports consultants and the research effort across client engagements and due diligence, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3–4 days in the Bethesda office.

You will analyze traditional and alternative investments within client portfolios, assist with materials, and help prepare quarterly client communications.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of professional experience; internships or coursework in finance are a plus.
• Undergraduate degree required; CFA Level I progress strongly preferred.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work under strict deadlines.
• Strong collaboration and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day workload of a group of consultants advising endowments, foundations, and family offices.
• Provide administrative and analytical support for client portfolios and track progress toward long-term goals.
• Aid the research team with investment manager research and due diligence across assets.
• Build quantitative analyses and reports on market activity and client/manager metrics.
• Assist with RFPs and onboarding materials and prepare quarterly client materials.
• Collaborate across client work, research, and firm-wide projects as needed.
• Communicate capacity and deadlines clearly to stakeholders.
