Responsibilities

• Assists teacher by helping with classroom instruction and activities.
• Monitors children's behavior inside and outside the classroom.
• Assists with clean-up and related tasks after daily activities.
• Prepares classroom for activities, including organizing assignments and preparing homework folders.
• Attends meetings and in-service training sessions.
• Creates bulletin boards, maintains materials and supplies, contacts parents and makes copies.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
