Job summary

Reworld is seeking an entry-level Industrial/Waste Lab Assistant to support lab operations, sample preparation, analysis, and reporting of results to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will handle sample preparation, analysis, and documentation, while maintaining a safe and organized laboratory environment.

Responsibilities include following established protocols, adhering to safety plans, and assisting with instrumentation and general lab tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required but preferred in industrial waste lab.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of the waste industry is preferred.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples according to established protocols.
• Calculate and report analytical results accurately and timely.
• General lab housekeeping incl. sample sorting and disposal.
• Clean glassware to meet analytical cleanliness standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas.
• Adhere to Waste Analysis Plan and Chemical Hygiene Plan.
• Communicate technical information effectively both orally and in writing.
• Background in instrumentation with GC, ICP, and Calorimeter.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
