Job summary

Atlas is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Field Technician to support environmental and building science projects across commercial, industrial, and community settings. You will conduct field inspections, collect samples (asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, IAQ, radon), document observations, and contribute to technical reporting.

This role offers hands-on experience, professional development opportunities, and exposure to a wide range of environmental consulting services.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position in environmental field.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Strong observation and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and sample collection for asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, IAQ and radon.
• Document observations and assist with technical reporting.
• Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, laboratories and regulators.
• Follow Atlas safety procedures and maintain high-quality field documentation.
• Support related environmental and building science services while developing new certifications.
