Job summary

Morrison-Maierle is seeking an Entry-Level ICT Designer to join our Buildings group. The role focuses on designing low voltage building systems, including structured cabling, security, AV, and wireless networks, in collaboration with architects and engineers.

The role requires a 0–3 year background in ICT design, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and proficiency with REVIT. Boise relocation may be available; multiple locations nationwide are listed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 0–3 years of ICT design experience.
• Proficiency with REVIT design software.

Responsibilities

• Design ICT floor plans including cabling, pathways, rooms, AV, access control, cameras, intercoms and intrusion systems.
• Prepare CSI Division 27 and 28 written specifications.
• Coordinate REVIT models with architects and other disciplines.
• Attend internal meetings and develop client relationships.
• Research technical product information and support design improvements.
• Perform inspections and compile punch lists on project sites.
• Ensure dates and milestones are met and support project teams.
• Contribute to tool development and process improvements.
