Job summary

Donohue & Associates, a premier water and wastewater engineering firm, invites applications for an Entry Level I&C Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team.

In this role you will assist in designing, developing and implementing control systems for water and wastewater facilities, mentored by experienced engineers, while building skills in project delivery, client communication and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation, or related field.
• EIT certification or working towards PE.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desire to design and develop control systems for water/wastewater facilities.
• Positive team- and client-focused attitude toward delivering quality work on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing and implementing control systems for water and wastewater facilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure systems meet specs and quality standards.

Donohue & Associates, a preferred provider of water and wastewater engineering services, is looking for an Entry Level I&C Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team.

In this position, you will be guided by highly experienced engineers specializing in the design, development and implementation of control systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities. You’ll be involved in ensuring that all systems meet the required specifications and quality standards for municipal and industrial clients throughout the Midwest. Our ideal candidate will be motivated, interested in continuous learning, and have strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, automation, or related field.


• Relevant coursework and internships.


• Positive team- and client-focused attitude toward delivering quality work on time and within budget.


• Desire to be involved in the designing and developing of control systems for water/wastewater facilities.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• EIT certification or working towards PE.
